Granby Belle Welsh Section C (Merrie)

 (Dwyfor Michael x Granby Bronze)

We have owned this fabulous pony since she was 8 years old, she is now 22 and retired following major colic surgery for a lipoma.  She has taught all my three children to ride, qualified and placed every year Ponies UK, competed and won at County level, both flat classes and working hunter classes.  She has been to Pony Club Camp on a number of occasions and has been the perfect pony in every way, she is now enjoying her well deserved retirement.

Penstacan Marigold (Spice)

(Gwrthafarn Merlyn x Penstacan Rosie)

Spice has been owned by us for the past five years.  She has never been out of the ribbons in the ridden classes when my daughter was still competing however Rebecca no longer rides due to A level comittments.  Spice has won and been champion at County level.  She is now ridden by myself doing sponsored rides, hacking out and in hand showing.

Spice at Newark 2005

After a break of three years our daughter decided to take Spice out this year.  She competed at NCPA Newark and came 1st, 4th and 4th in three separate classes.  It was a joy to see both horse and rider in the ring again.
