The Kyleburn prefix is derived from the historical name for a small Derbyshire village called Kilburn. This is where I was born and bred and where my interest in ponies was first realised in around 1976, my first pony being a Welsh Section A.
Kyleburn Natve Ponies are situated in Heage, Derbyshire. This is the home of my first Welsh Section B mare, Moletryfan Black Lady, purchased as a yearling in 1996. She was shown as a youngster and bred me my very first foal, "As If By Magic" a bay filly by Rotherwood Winters Tale. Now at 13, she is very much 'alpha mare' here and is in foal to Cwrtycadno Llewelyn of the Brookwater Stud in Nottinghamshire (http://www.brookwaterstud.com).
Since purchasing my first Dartmoor Kingshaugh Linnet in 2003, Dartmoors have become my main interest. This has led to my firm friendship with the Brown family of East Drayton and my subsequent partnership in the fabulous Dartmoor stallion Springwater Happy Day.
